Pre Purchase Building Inspections

Service Description
A Pre Purchase Inspection Report should be carried out by a qualified inspector indicating the issues at hand, leaving you with adequate information to make a well-informed decision about your purchase.
Not only will you need a Building Inspection you will also require a Pest Inspection which we can organise.
These pre purchase inspections must be carried out in compliance with the relevant Australian Standards, the AS:4349.1 series. A Big Bass report covers all aspects of the dwelling in a comprehensive 40+ page report.
Your inspection will be carried out by a fully licenced building inspector who will cover all accessible parts of the property and dwellings including:
- The interior and Exterior of all buildings
- Garage’s, garden sheds and carports
- Retaining walls, stairs, pathways, driveways, reinforced garden beds
- Roof interior (if man-hole accessible)
- Roof exterior (via ladder only)
- Sub floor (if accessible)
Big Bass will also assist you in the coordination of a Pest Inspection.
A pre purchase building inspection, including comprehensive report, will cost $299.
